My Favorite Summer Lip Products

Hello friends! I know summer doesn’t officially start until June 20th, but this 90 degree Florida weather has me raiding my lippies drawer for summer shades. These are some of my favorites for this time of year!DSC_0742

First up, we have Covergirl’s Melting Pout Gel Liquid Lipstick in the shade Gelebrate ($6.99). Click here to read a review of the Melting Pout Lipsticks! I love this as a summer shade; it is a gorgeous, fresh peachy coral with the perfect amount of shine. It’s easy to apply, hydrating, and would look perfect with a flirty sundress.

Next is Be a Bombshell Cosmetic’s Lip Gloss in the shade Summer Lovin’ ($8). This is a coral shiny lip gloss with flecks of gold glitter. It is pretty pigmented for a lip gloss, and looks great layered over liquid lipsticks. This gloss is a bit sticky, but I think it’s worth overlooking in this case. DSC_0752

Third is the Evelyn Iona Cosmetic’s Organic Lip Gloss in the shade “Lise” ($21). This is one of the best lip glosses I have ever tried! It goes on creamy, and isn’t sticky at all. The lip gloss contains ingredients such as bark extract, oregano, vitamin E, and coconut oil to hydrate and and heal your lips. It feels like a liquid lipstick, while giving the appearance of a gloss. It’s soft pink finish is perfect for a bare faced look, perfect for active summer days.

Okay, now on to the best liquid lipstick I’ve ever tried: Laritzy Cosmetic’s Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick, in the shade Lola. ($24). I received this as a deluxe sample in a Lip Monthly bag, and was completely blown away by its quality. You can completely do your lipstick with just one dip in the bottle; it is that pigmented! No hint of patchiness whatsoever. It doesn’t settle in your lip lines as badly as a lot of other liquid lipsticks. It dries down to a matte finish, but it isn’t drying at all. Plus, it doesn’t have that buttercream smell most lipsticks seem to have; instead, it smells just like caramel corn! Not a smell I expected, that’s for sure. ;P And, this orange shade will add a pop of color to your look on a sweltering summer afternoon.

Coastal Scents’ Lipstick in the shade 14 ($3.95). This is a creamy lippie that applies so easily. And such beautiful pink pigmentation in one swipe! It’s very hydrating and really a fantastic lipstick for that price.

My final summer pick is Sephora’s Oil Infusion in the shade Raspberry Smoothie ($14). This isn’t very pigmented, but it isn’t meant to be. It provides a sheer wash of color, while also nourishing your lips with kendi oil and shea butter. A great way to protect your lips this summer!

– As of May 23, 2017, these are on sale for half off at Sephora! Follow the link above to get one! (Not an affiliate link)DSC_0755

And here is my makeup of the day! I have a little bit of gold shimmer on the eyes, a winged liner, and the Laritsy Cosmetics’ Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Lola. Loving it! DSC_0777

I hope you guys found this compilation useful! Do you wear different shades for summer, or do you wear the same colors all year round?
