Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch Adventures

My family has had a tradition of going to the Zellwood Corn Maze since I was 12 years old. I wasn’t able to tag along last year, but I was so excited to be going this fall! The trip coincided with my sister’s birthday, so I definitely couldn’t miss it. I want to share how the day went with you. 🙂

Things got a little “corny” when we couldn’t resist this photo op!

After taking a couple cheesy pictures, our family beelined straight for the maze entrance. We split up into two teams; my dad and sisters were one on team, and I was on a team with my mom and my brother. My brother has a super-brain, and can remember every turn in a maze… which comes in handy. We were partway through the maze, when we realized we were given a scavenger hunt list for a previous year. He remembered each turn we needed to take to get back to the entrance, and then led us back to the same spot in the middle of the maze!

Here I am, trying to peek through the corn.

The maze was so hard to get through! I’m only 5’1, so the corn stalks towered over my head. Sometimes I tried to peek through to see if we were going the right way, but it was mainly just guess work. But, we managed to find every single thing on the scavenger hunt list! It took us nearly 2 hours to get through the maze.

Our team didn’t win, but at least we found our way out! After we finished the maze, it was time to explore the rest of the grounds.

We took my sisters to the zipline station, and they had a blast!

After that, we were pretty beat. It was time to head home, but first I decided to stop by the pumpkin patch! There were so many cute gourds and I couldn’t resist taking a closer look.

So cute! I didn’t end up taking any home, but it was so much fun looking at all the different shapes, colors, and sizes.

So, that was my corn maze adventure. I don’t normally do these kinds of posts, but let me know what you think! Have you visited a corn maze before?

It is a lot of fun I agree. We are having a big house party on the closest Saturday to Halloween, with decorations and costumes. We also on Halloween night if it falls in the week days have themed food and sweets and watch hocus Pocus as that film is still really big over here. What about u? Xx

Very nice read Victoria! I have never been to a corn maze in that fashion, but once I went to a haunted hay ride in a field but I think thats very different lol. Looks like this year was a great family outing and the perfect remedy for a beautiful fall day!

I still haven’t gotten to do nearly as many fall activities as I would normally like (the downside of living in the city without a car) but I’m hoping I can make my way out to a corn maze or at least some apple picking soon!
